Being Human

 BEING HUMAN

It is not hard to remember the occurrences of torturing students by the teachers. Our regular newspapers are living-documentation of this too. We always heard from our childhood that, teachers are as respected as our parents are. However, many of them have already lost that particular place for their ultra-professional mentality. They are behaving rude to the students as it like that they are not there to build up the career of students but are eager just do the “sheer duty” to maintain him/her salaried. Therefore, there are many negative votes for the teachers today.

Where many a teachers are behaving like a businessperson and states teaching is a “profession” then Sibpur Jasodamoyee Vidyalaya (H.S.) is different from many earthy aspects. The teachers of this school are breaking the recent negative myth around and it is their “Joint-Venture”. The teachers of this institution contributing an amount monthly from their own salary and maintain a welfare-fund. However, this is not all they are doing. They also took admission of 20 orphan students from a NGO named “SEED” and the all-educational expenditure of these students including books, copies, tuition classes, fees is been maintained by the welfare fund. Head Master Mr. Santanu Ganguli and Assistant Head Master Mr. Utpal Bhattacharya are the leading-men with the golden heart to run the fund in a systematic way. The school also have some students who are the first generation reader, mainly from the Ganga-Side slum area. As per Utpal Babu’s version, it is very clear that they are not the conventional social worker who asks for a donation and offers you the tax-benefit. They are ready to take anything that can help those students to live better.

Are you crying? Removing your hats to salute these real teachers? Please spread your hand heartily to do something for the children and receive the same ovation. Do you want to do something for the students? They really need your loving hands. If you want to do anything for the students please contact with:
